If your income stops, you have exactly 60 days before you hit the ground. That’s not wealth; that’s a high-speed chase.

How to Calculate Your Freedom Number

You don't need a spreadsheet. Just two numbers:

1. Your Liquidity: Add up all your cash and "near-cash" assets (Savings, USD balance, stablecoins).
2. Your Monthly Burn: What is the absolute minimum you need to survive for 30 days?

The Formula:

Total Savings ➗ Monthly Expenses = Your Runway (in Months)

The 3 Stages of Runway

Where do you sit today? (Be honest with yourself):

• The "Danger Zone" (0–1 Month): You are living paycheck to paycheck. One emergency or one delayed salary is a crisis.
  Goal: Cut every "non-essential" until you hit Month 2.

• The "Buffer Zone" (3–6 Months): This is the sweet spot for peace of mind. If you lose a job or a client, you have half a year to pivot without panic.
  Goal: This is where you start making better career decisions because you aren't "desperate."

• The "Freedom Zone" (12+ Months): You are officially "Wealthy." You have a full year of life bought and paid for. You can take risks, start a business, or take a sabbatical.
